Library at Ojo Encino Day School

The Ojo Encino Day School library is available to all students, faculty, and staff who want to read, learn, or study. Our library is where students meet to explore new subjects, get answers to questions, and satisfy their intellectual curiosity. Students can develop reading habits, master new digital technologies, and acquire new research skills to complement their lifelong learning habits.

Checkouts

Ojo Encino Day School library keeps education at the fingertips of students and staff members by allowing library book checkouts at staff discretion. Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to visit our library and find new ways to promote literacy development amongst the entire family.

Overdue Books

Please return or renew books promptly. At the end of the school year, the library treats all overdue books as lost or missing.

Requests for Books

We welcome book requests from staff and students and will do our best to fulfill them.  

Library Rules

To ensure everyone can enjoy the library, please observe these rules:

  • Bring all the materials you need before you enter.  
  • Do not bring food or drinks.  
  • Keep voices down.  
  • No running or horseplay.
  • Keep the premises clean.
  • Return books to designated areas for proper re-shelving.
  • Do not remove reference materials, magazines, or newspapers.
