Ojo Encino Day School Enrollment Information

Parents/guardians must provide all necessary administrative records before their child can be enrolled. Any students desiring to enroll at Ojo Encino Day School must have a parent/guardian accompanying them at the time of enrollment.

To facilitate the enrollment process, please review the following conditions and requirements:

Required Documentation

  • Completed enrollment packet
  • Up-to-date immunization records
  • Birth certificate or documentation establishing guardianship/parentage
  • Current transcripts (grades, credits and attendance) and test data (state and EL)
  • Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) or other proof of Indian status for Native American or Alaska Native students

Special Circumstances

  • Students under suspension or involved in disciplinary proceedings at another school must participate in a documented counseling session before enrollment.
  • Students expelled for criminal offenses and/or violent behavior, or previously violating the school's substance abuse policy, must also undergo a documented counseling session before enrollment.

Additional Requirements

  • Students outside the attendance boundaries must have an approved out-of-boundary waiver from the school board.
  • Transfer students must enroll within the first 10 days of the fall or spring semester, subject to administrative approval.
  • Re-enrollment for students not enrolled in the previous semester is contingent upon available space within the proposed schedule/grade.

Health and Safety Disclosure

  • Any known medical issues, including food allergies, must be disclosed to the principal and registrar upon admission. This information will be shared with the appropriate staff members following school policy.

Enrollment Review Process

  • The school reserves the right to deny enrollment to any student deemed to pose a threat to the health, safety or welfare of staff, faculty, students or the school. Denied applicants may be appealed through the established appeal process.
