Second-grade teacher Rosina D. at Ojo Encino Day School guided her students through a challenging yet rewarding project. Her class published a book about plants and animals native to Dinétah, emphasizing the traditional uses of plants and the cultural significance of animals. The second graders put a lot of effort into their research for the book. They wrote and revised drafts until they finalized their edits and felt ready for publishing. Everyone was very excited about the great results of their hard work!
